31 YEAR OLD MAN MURDERED, FATHER KIDNAPPED OVER MERCURY

Police in Masindi are investigating circumstances under which a 31 year old Man was murdered and his father kidnaped in Kituka central villageKihaguzi Parish Pakanyi sub county Masindi district.
The deceased was identified as Joab Kyalisima and the father identified as Yonsan Kajura 50 years old.
According to Silver Mugabi the deceased had mercury which he brought from Congo and have been looking for the buyers.
He added that on the fateful day, some two men approached Kyalisiima in need of buying the mercury but surprisingly some policemen joined which resulted into a fighting and he had to escape.
The father of the deceased was then taken by those unknown people who are now demanding for 5 million from the family so that they can release their father
Unfortunately kyalisiima was yesterday morning found lying lifeless under maize plantation by people who went to fetch water.
The district police commander Bosco Odongo requested for time so that investigations can be carried out noting that their intelligence have already started to trace the phones they used and asked the residents to help police with any information they think can help
