PROF. KAROORO WANTS MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TO KICK EXAMINATIONS CHEATING OUT OF SCHOOLS

Prof. Emmanuel Karooro the vice chancellor Ibanda University wants the Ministry of Education to work very hard and stop teachers who cheat exams for students.
Prof Karooro was speaking at the thanks giving of Ngyeya Preparatory primary school in Bushenyi District as they celebrated for 2019 PLE success on Sunday 9th Feb 2020 at Katungu Church of Uganda.
The Prof who is also the director Ngyeya Preparatory school noted that the habit starts with parents who pay schools so that their children can be cheated for.
Prof. Karooro vowed that he has never engaged himself in cheating and buying exams such that Ngyeya can do distinctions which are not for real.
He appreciated the ministry of Education for the newly introduced lower secondary school curriculum adding that it is a blessing to entrepreneurship since it will make students self reliant.
According to the school head teacher , out of 20 students who sat for their Primary Leaving Exams last year, 12 got division one with the best pupil having 4 aggregates and 8 got second division.
He advised the students who are joining secondary schools to join groups which they will be of help to them so that they keep the candle of Ngyeya Preparatory School burning.
