IBANDA RENOWN TRADITIONAL HEALER KILLED IN COLD BLOOD BY CLIENT

Police in Ibanda district are hunting for unknown assailant who allegedly killed a 77-year-old renown traditional healer last Saturday at 10.00 pm.

The old woman has been identified as Babicwa Nzeera Dinah a resident of Nyabushorora in Nyakatookye ward, Bisheeshe division in Ibanda municipality.

According to the grand children of the deceased, un known man who claimed to had come from Buremba subcounty Kazo district visited their grandmother seeking for her herbal services.

The grand children also say that their grandmother prepared the herbs for the man after charging him, then prepared supper for him since he was to leave the following day on Sunday.

The shocked family members told www.mknewslink.com reporter that they were however surprised to hear their grandmother shouting for help only to find her lying in a pool of blood ,and an axe stained with blood near her.

The Ibanda District Police Commander, Ms. Emily Angomoku confirmed the incident adding that investigations into this matter have commenced.

She advised the public to always report to LC officials in case one gets a visitor especially those they do not know.
