MP MBATEKAMWA FINALLY RELEASED ON POLICE BOND AFTER TWO DAYS IN CELLS

The NRM parliamentary candidate for Igara west in Bushenyi district last evening finally accepted to be bonded after refusing many times.
He was arrested Sunday afternoon after handing over an ambulance for Nyabubare health III. After arrest he was taken to Bushenyi police station where he rejected bond many times.
Mbatekamwa Gaafa is the outgoing Member of Parliament for Kasambya County in Mubende district.
Nyabubare health centre III Ambulance is third one to be donated by Mbwatekamwa. The first one was for Bitooma centre III, the second for Kakanju and lastly Nyabubare.
The incumbent MP for Igara west, Minister Rapheal Magyezi pulled out of the race after too much pressure was asserted on him by Mbwatekamwa and others.
Sunday’s arrest of Mbwatekamwa was the second one. The first one was two months ago, he was arrested while handing over Kakanju health centre III Ambulance. He was also released on bond.
Mbwatekamwa is contesting for Igara west county with others who include; Prof. Tarsis Kabwegyere, Adam Kyakuwa, Domaro Adrine, Dr. Karuhanga, Horace Muhamuzi .
