KASHARI SOUTH’S ITUNGO BOUNCES BACK AS INDEPENDENT AFTER FAILING TO PARTICIPATE IN NRM PRIMARIES

As NRM cadres and die hards continue to contest as independent candidates, Nathan Itungo Twesigye of Kashari south is not an exceptional.

Nathan Twesigye Itungo was yesterday nominated at Kamukuzi as an independent candidate to face NRM’s Dr. Abel Mwebembezi who defeated Itungo’s favorite JB Tumusime.

It is alleged that Itungo who was ill at the time of the NRM primaries sent JB Tumisiime to stand but was unfortunately defeated by Mbwebembezi.

Meanwhile other aspirants who have so far been nominated are; the NRM flag bearer Kashari North Basil Bataringaya Rwankwene ,Ayebare Magret Rwebyambu Mbarara NRM woman representative .

 Atukwasa Rhita Bwahika and Bonny Kiconco Mutungi have also been nominated to battle for Mbarara city woman MP seat on independent, NRM tickets respectively.

Independent Emmy Mbarebaki , FDC’S Nick Kashaija Rutahaba and NRM’S Mwine Mpaka have also been nominated for Mbarara city South MP seat while ANT’s Mugisha Otatiina Celestine and NRM’S Dr.Robert Mwesigwa Rukari  have been nominated for Mbarara city North MP seat.
