KABAROLE DISTRICT CONFIRMS FIRST COVID 19 DEATH

Kabarole district has confirmed its first COVID 19 death since the outbreak in March this year.

Brian Kisembo the COVID 19 Focal person says the patient whose details he did not disclose, died on Tuesday and by yesterday afternoon, the health experts were organizing with the family for a decent technical burial.

According to Kisembo, from 1^st November 2020 to date, the district and the Fort portal City have confirmed 17 COVID19 cases with all from community, civil servants both at the district and City, one boda boda rider, 6 health workers among others.

Kisembo encouraged people to stick to the Standard Operating Procedures as the only measure.

Richard Rwabuhinga the district Chairperson called for mass community testing.
