RUBANDA DISTRICT WOMAN MP CONCERNED OVER MORAL DEGENERATION AMONG YOUTHS

The Commissioner of Parliament also the Rubanda District Woman Member of Parliament Prossy Akampurira Begumisa Mbabazi has expressed concern over moral degeneration among the young children.

She was yesterday speaking during the function at St Paul’s Ihunga Church of Uganda parish in Nshanjare town council, Rubanda district where the Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi Rt Rev George Bagamuhunda confirmed a total of 190 Christians into Anglican Faith.

Akampurira said that some years back children were monitored by every member of the community to ensure that they are well disciplined and the undisciplined were punished but currently there are young children who use vulgar and abusive words and no one is concerned.

She blamed such increasing moral degeneration on parents who don’t want other concerned people in the society to punish such undisciplined children

Bishop Bagamuhunda asked the Christians to be humble and ask for forgiveness from their sins which they committed in last year so as they enter a new year when they are true Christians.
