TRINITY COLLEGE BANNED FOR FIELDING MALE STUDENT TO PLAY WITH FEMALES, SLEPT WITH FEMALES FOR WEEKS

Kabale trinity college has been has been banned from the National
secondary school hand ball games tournaments for three years following
the discovery that it fielded a male student in female sporting
competitions.
On 13th July this year, Police in Rukungiri arrested one Apollo
Byamugisha a student of Trinity College Kabale for impersonation.
Rukungiri District police commander Ronald Wotwali said Byamugisha was
arrested from Immaculate Heart Girls School- Nyakibale where he was
participating in female sporting competitions while sharing a
dormitory with female students.
The suspect was reportedly been on the netball and volley ball teams
on behalf of Kabale Trinity College.
The Chairperson Sports association Committee of Secondary school head teachers of Uganda-ASSHU Onesmas Rukundo says that the decision was reached on last evening in a meeting that held
at National teachers college resource centre in Kabale municipality.
Rukundo also says that Trinity College Kabale was also banned from
representing Kabale district in the forthcoming Music dance and drama
competitions that will take place on 22nd july this year in Mbale
district.
He also says that the female teacher who checked the said student
during district competitions will also appear before the disciplinary
committee to explain why she said Byamugisha was a girl.
Rukundo also noted the three years ban for Kigezi College Butobere
that was put for fielding ineligible players in the recent concluded
Copa Coca-Cola post primaries will be served though the school
administration had petitioned demanding that the ban be lifted or
bought.
