KABALE BUSINESSMAN ROBBED AT GUNPOINT

Police in  Kabale are investigating  an aggravated robbery case and hunting for suspects involved.

The Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson Elly Maate  says  Nisnant shitole a businessman of Indian origin , the manager Tiptop bread Kabale Depot and resident of Makanga cell central ward central Division Kabale municipality was on the 15th July,2022 at around 2130hrs at Makanga cell central division Kabale district robbed on gunpoint.

Maate identified the Suspects as Amos Ecidu and others who robbed the businessman of shillings Eight Million

It’s alleged that the suspect , a security guard  attached to  accurate security company who was guarding, put the manager on gun point and forced him to open the safe thereby robbing him approximately 8 million

That after the said robbery, the guard abandoned his rifle and  took off with the money.

Maate said that anyone with information that can lead the security to the suspects, should volunteer it so that are brought to book.

Maate encouraged all people using private security companies to guard them and their businesses  not  to use single deployment, but to use double deployment

The case of robbery was registered at Kabale Central Police station under reference number SD 85/15/07/2022.
