BESIGYE SPITES FIRE ON CONSTITUTION AMENDMENT

The four time presidential candidate and FDC strong man; Col. Dr.Kizza Besigye has finally broken his silence, saying that the biggest challenge in Uganda is constitutional instability.
Addressing mammoth of FDC supporters in newly created Bunyangabu district while drumming up support for his Party candidates yesterday, Besigye stated that the only problem for Uganda is constitutional instability which he says has affected the country economically.
Bunyangabu is among the newly created five districts in the country where by FDC has fronted two candidates; Silver Turyasingura LC5 chair person tussling out with James Mugarama (NRM) and Dorothy Nyakisiki tussling it out with the state minister for gender and culture; Peace Mutuzo(NRM) www.mknewslink can confirm.
Besigye also stated that many Ugandans have suffered following the deeds the ruling government under the leadership of President Museveni.
Besigye said that tax payer’s money has been misused on the going controversial amendment of article 102b where millions of money has been given to Members of Parliament.
He says the constitution is only amended to fulfill the individual interests, adding that whenever Museveni recognizes that there are inconveniences with the constitution, instead it is amended giving an example of the 2005 amendment of the age term limit.
Besigye stated that this challenge has led to constant abuse of the public resources leading to poor service delivery among Ugandans.
He further noted that the ruling government has abused tax payer’s money through bribing public institution like courts, police and among others.
The elections are slated for 21st Sept 2017.
