OPPOSITION MPS CRITICIZED FOR FIGHTING IN PARLIAMENT

Dan Malcolm Masiko; one of the FDC aspiring presidential candidate has criticized the way how members of parliament are handling the proposed amendment of article 102B of Uganda’s constitution.
Opposition members of parliament and some from NRM who are opposing the amendment of article 102(B)of the 1995 constitution of Uganda yesterday exchanged blows with colleagues who are in support of the amendment on the floor of parliament.www.mknewslink.com can confirm.
Speaking to FDC delegates from Kabarole district while soliciting votes from the delegates, Masiko stated that according to how the opposition members of parliament reacted they were not well prepared for the incident.
Masiko added that the Mps would have first sat down and made strategies on how to stop the tabling of the motion in parliament instead of fighting.
Meanwhile Masiko has described himself as the hope of forum for democratic change if given a chance to be elected the party president.
Masiko further stated that FDC only needs power and the way to get it is to fight the dictatorship with an iron hand.
Forum for democratic change is set to conduct presidential elections on 24th November 2017 where it has five candidates including Mugusha Muntu the incumbent, Mubarak Munyagwa, Patrick Oboi Amriat, Dan Masiko Malcom and Byamugisha Moses.
