Following the marveling performance of St Kaggwa primary school in Bushenyi in the 2024 primary leaving examinations (PLE) which were released on January 23, 2025, the school administration is now pondering on increasing the pupils’ population at the school, especially in the primary seven (P7) class.
This was revealed by Didas Gumisiriza, the school deputy head teacher in charge of academics immediately after the school received their PLE results shortly after their release by the education ministry.
When www.mknewslink.com visited the school, Gumisiriza revealed that they are now looking at increasing the school’s pupils’ population following the outstanding performance.
“The target of the school is to be the highest populated school in Bushenyi district especially in our candidates’ class. Our performance in last year’s national exams and even over the years has continually showed us the we can make it and have all our pupils pass,” Gumisiriza said.
From 193, the total number of pupils registered for last year’s final examinations, the school saw 136 pupils passing in division one and all the remaining 57 coming in the second division.
Benitah Ariho, their best pupil in the 2024 PLE examinations scored 4 aggregates.
