Julius Tumusiime one of the directors of bfm Bushenyi was this week appointed board member of Uganda media council.
He was appointed by the minister of ICT and National guidance. Dr. chris Baryomunsi. Media council is the body meant to govern operations of all media houses in Uganda
Education background
Tumusiime Julius holds bachelors degree in commerce, masters degree in business administration all from makerere university.
He also holds certificate in marketing,CIMA (UK)and CIPS (UK).
WORKING EXPERIENCE
MR. TUMUSIIME Julius begun his marketing career with radio west in 1999r and later left it and started BFM with other colleagues in 2008
At both radios mr.julius demonstrated his highest level of marketing skills which has led his business excel.
He has been Advocating for promotion of rural radio voices and community development through media.
He is the founder and chairman of rural broadcasters Association that has greatly helped rural radios to access national business.
Mr Julius Tumusiime is also a renown media consultant at TJK Company in Kampala Uganda.
He is born in Omurwera in Kitagwenda district Rwenzori sub-region western Uganda
