The suspects, identified as Rodgers Tukahirwa and Darius Nasasira, were apprehended on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, after a police canine unit tracked them down from the crime scene. They are accused of murdering Richard Arinaitwe, a resident of Bwizibwera Lower Cell, Rwanyamahembe Town Council in Mbarara District.
According to Kasasira, the heinous crime took place at an unknown time on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Bwizibwera Upper Cell.
