BUSHENYI MOSLEM WRANGLES SHAKE ISHAKA AS POLICE GUARD MOSQUE

Police have deployed at Basajabalaba Mosque in Ishaka town Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality as wrangles over Muslim properties deepens.
Earlier on today, Chaos erupted as the wrangling party wanted to hold a meeting to find a solution but did not happen as police ordered them to wait until 30th January this year.
Jonathan Isah who spoke to journalists blamed the chaos on three suspended leaders who deviated from the agreement that was reached between the two worrying parties.
Isah said they have suspended district Khadi Sheikh Mubarak Katinama and appointed Sheikh as the acting district Khadi until 30th January.
Other suspended committee members include Sheikh Adam Nsubuga, Sheikh Adam Ssemugabe, Kiyimba, and Abdu Maso.
Police commanded by ASP Stephen Kamaar, the officer in charge of Ishaka police station have since Thursday taken over guard of the mosque as muslims accuse the current leadership of mismanaging land and rent remittances.
Kamaar has said they shall stay at the mosque until the two warring Muslim factions reach consensus regarding the management of the said properties.
