TWO KNOCKED DEAD ON HOIMA- MASINDI ROAD

Police in Hoima is hunting for unknown vehicle driver who on Sunday night knocked two people dead in Kyakapeya, Mparo division Hoima
municipality along Hoima-Masindi road.
The vehicle whose driver remain unknown allegedly knocked a motorist carrying three people heading to town killing two of them on spot and injuring two others.
The deceased have been identified as Simon Kaahwa and Johnson Ayeballe; all residents of Kitongole village in Kyabigambire sub-county Hoima district.
The injured were identified as Enock Musinguzi and Swaibu Ayebaale who are currently admitted at Hoima Regional Referral hospital in critical conditions.

Mugisha says the vehicle driver continued heading to Masindi after the accident saying police is hunting for him.
According to him, police posts in the Albertine region have been notified and are on alert.
Mugisha however cautions motorists and drivers against overloading and over driving saying these are major causes of accidents in the district.
This is a second fatal accident to occur at the same place in less than two weeks. Two weeks ago, a Centenary Bank employee in Hoima identified as Ibrahim was knocked dead by a hit and run vehicle in Kyakapeya Hoima.
