BUSHENYI TEACHERS WARNED AGAINST POOR DRESS CODE

Teachers have been warned against dressing poorly while on duty so as to be exemplary.
The warning was sounded by Saul Rwampororo the district education officer Bushenyi- Ishaka municipality while opening a one day p4 and p5 teachers’ workshop held today o2ndm August 2018 at the municipal multipurpose hall aimed that reviewing the national curriculum and its relevance to the Ugandan day to date life.
He noted that teachers must dress well so as to be good examples to the children they teach.
He added that they must be disciplined in every way if the pupils they guide are to become responsible, disciplined and well nurtured citizens of this nation.
Maxim Arinaitwe the Deputy Principal Bushenyi Primary Teachers College also the CCT Kyamuhunga sub county, asked to adopt new methods of teaching. He urged teachers to use methods that are Learner Centered.
Arinaitwe noted that the curriculum is relevant in day to date life because it instils leadership skills into learners through activities like debates, guides them to realize the value of the environment and teaches learners to respect cultural norms and languages.
