ABU MUWONGE LAUNCHES ACTIVITIES FOR ANKOLE KIDS FESTIVAL SLATED FOR 6TH SEPT. 2026

Bushenyi -Ishaka municipality councilor representing Central ward in Central division, Abu Muwonge yesterday launched activities in preparation for the first edition of Ankole Kids’ festival that will take place on 6th Sept.2026.
The chairman of the event Nathan Keijana aka Kijana man Omutuuze, advised parents to bring their children to the event and each child pays 5000 shillings.
He added that parents will enter for free as long as they come with their children who will pay.
The children who will attend the festival will enjoy bouncing castle, swimming pool, Carmel ride among others, according to Mr. Keijana.

Red Cross Uganda Bushenyi branch, Comboni hospital Kyamuhunga, Ishaka Adventist hospital were also present at the event treating patients, giving out spectacles for short and long sightedness.
