IN BUSHENYI—
The Igara East parliamentary candidate Mr. Benards Kananura Bahemuka told his supporters last evening at Rwemiyonga play ground in Bumbaire sub-county Bushenyi district that he will emerge a winner in the ongoing by-election.
Kananura urged his supporters who turned up for his rally to vote for him and then receive a member of parliament born from Rwemiyonga.
He was nominated yesterday afternoon at Bushenyi district council hall and conducted a drive with over 100 vehicles and 150 boda boda motorcycles.
The drive started from Bushenyi town to Nyakabirizi, Katikamwe, Kyabugimbi town and then Nyakabanga village.
The drive continued to Kibona then to Rutooma in Rwentuha town council and after to Rwentuha town to Kyeizooba sub-county headquarters Buyanja then ended at Rwemiyonga play ground.

Others in the race include; Micheal Mawanda Maranga, Christine Bekunika, Armstrong David, Benjamin Katana and Andrew Martial.
Igara East parliamentary seat fell vacant after Micheal Mawanda successful petitioned court of peal and won the case.
