Police in Bushenyi is investigating circumstances under which unknown people broke into Pride Micro finance Bank last night and took off with one set of computers.
The regional Police commander for Greater Bushenyi Eddie Sserunjogi confirmed the incident and revealed to www.mknewslink.com reporter that so far two suspects are in police custody helping police in their investigations.
According to the no money was stolen from the bank. Efforts by www.mknews.com reporter to talk to the manager Pride micro finance Bank were futile as his mobile phone was switched off.
Mr Sserunjogi appealed to the public during this festival season to be vigilant in order to guard their property against thieves.
He warned travelers to avoid carrying large sums of money during their travels but to mobile money service instead.
He further urged public to ensure that there is enough light in their homes during the night in a bid to prevent prospectus thieves during Christmas season.
