AMB. FRANKLIN KATUNGWE GRADUATES WITH EXECUTIVE MASTERS DEGREE DESPITE BUSY DIPLOMATIC SCHEDULE

The deputy head of mission for Benelux countries and European Union in Brussels Franklin Katungwe has successfully graduated with an executive master’s degree in governance and development policy despite the heavy diplomatic schedule.
In an online interview with www.mknewslink.com managing director from Brussels to Bushenyi, Ambassador Katungwe noted that he was able to make it despite his busy schedule because he studied during weekends, evenings and through virtual.
He graduated from CECRIS- ULB Diplomatic school of Brussels on 10th October 2022.
He intimated to www.mknewslink.com that he dedicates degree to his wife Magret Katungwe and late mother Dinah Ruhinguza.
Katungwe also holds a degree in business administration from Makerere university business school. He is also highly skilled in land surveying.
He retired from Uganda revenue authority as a customs officer and he has as well worked with Uganda posts and telecommunications.
He also contested for Bushenyi Ishaka municipal parliamentary seat but lost to Nasser Bassajabalaba. He tried to re contest in a bye election but he was advised against it by the President who later appointed him as an ambassador in Brussels
