BISHOP TWINOMUJUNI SWALLOWS PRIDE, ALLOWS ARCHDEACONS TO INTERVIEW CONFIRMANTS (ABARONDE)

The Bishop for West Ankole Diocese Johnson Twinomujuni has swallowed his pride of himself interviewing confirmants (abaronde) rather than him giving assignment to the archdeacons and parish priests.

In his Christmas message, Bishop Johnson categorically said that they are the archdeacons who will always interview confirmants (abaronde) rather than himself.

This means that for him he will always come to pass out those who have passed tests rather than interviewing them himself as he has done for the last one and half years.

Bishop Twinomujuni has failed about 1000 confirmants starting from Rwakasinga where he failed 200 confirmants and none was confirmed.

What broke the camels back was his decision to fail all confirmants at Ngooma parish Rwabutura archdeaconry Sheema district.

Fire broke out from Christians and entire Diocese was on tension which forced the Diocesan council to intervene and warn the bishop never to fail confirmants.
