BUSHENYI: BUTARE MAN ARRESTED FOR SLAUGHTERING STOLEN COW

Residents of Butaare trading center Kyamuhunga in Bushenyi district yesterday 3rd June 2020 arrested a man suspected to had stolen a cow.
Sam Kanyuruguru, one of the butcher men in Butaare, identified the suspect as Amon Kabaheena, whom they arrested yesterday after a one Moris reported his missing cow at their butcher.
The cow had in the morning been sighted at the butcher, according to Kanyaruguru.
Moris Odomaro, a resident of Ncwera cell in Kigoma parish, Nyabubare sub-county said he found his cow missing yesterday morning at around 6:30am when he had woke up to milk his cows.
He then went to Kizinda and Ishaka butcheries but could not get his cow until when he decided to check in Butaare.
The cow was already slaughtered but he managed to identity it by seeing its skin and the head.
By press time, the suspect was being detained at Butaare police station.
