Asiimire Isabell Nyangoma a resident of Ruharo ward-Kabagarame, Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality emerged as miss high school 2023 at the high school Kiromo event that was held at Wonder world kansanga kampala.
“My name is Asiimire Isabell Nyangoma, my parents are Mr. Tumwebaze Deus and the late Kamaranzi Dinah(RIP) we are five children and I am a Twin with my brother in the 3rd position” said Asiimire Isabell Nyangoma.
Asimire went to Wakiso Town Primary School for primary school where she passed with 14aggregates at P7.
She later joined secondary at St. Elizabeth S.S.S Nkoowe in Wakiso District. However due to health conditions, her father changed the school for a better environment to improve on her health and that’s how she joined St. Agustine Vocational S.S.S Ruharo in Bushenyi District.
At St. Agustine, she passed S4 as the best student of the year 2021 with a first grade and then joined the mighty Immaculate Heart Girl’s School in Rukungiri where she’s still studying from to complete her Advanced Level.
She has been brought up by her father single handedly because her mother, the late Miss. Kamaranzi Dinah suffered from schizophrenia, a mental health issue when she was only 6 in P2!.
Therefore, she has faced challenges of growing up without a mother but regardless always worked hard not to be a waste to her family at large.
While at Immaculate Heart Girl’s school last year in S5 she managed to contest as communication minister and won and this gave her more confidence to always push for anything she’s interested in.
“So at the beginning of 1st term this year in S6, we were granted the opportunity to have a pageant to determine Miss Immac and I emerged as the winner for Miss Immac 2023 on 26th February 2023” said Asiimire Isabell.
She was requested to represent the school at the National Miss High School Kiromo event hosted by MC Ollo, On 13th May 2023.
She managed to scoop the Miss High school title for 2023 at the High school Kiromo event that was held at Wonder world Kansanga in Kampala.
The competition was stiff but she managed to make it winning representatives from 15 schools contesting for the same title.
Asiimire Isabell is currently a brand ambassador for Psalms food industries commonly known as (SUMZ). She’s also about to sign another Ambassadorship contract with JESA Farm Diary Ltd.
Isabell noted that all these achievements have been due to prayer, hard work, family support and social capital.
“To everyone out there, believe in yourself and be determined to achieve whatever you set yourself to do, have confidence and most importantly, always tell God your plans” Asiimire Isabell said.
She further said that with the above message everyone can be anything they want to be in future and failure is also part of life. When you fail at something, it should push you to work harder next time.
Isabell says that she has grown up without a mum due to mental health issues that led to her death in August 2022 but she has not given up. “Know what you want, keep yourselves pure and have the right company”. Thank you! Isabell concluded.
