BUSHENYI: KIGOMA PARISH H/QUARTER BLOWN OFF AS HEAVY HAILSTORM HITS NYABUBARE, BUMBAIRE

In Bushenyi—

Heavy hailstorm has hit Nyabubare and Bumbaire sub counties in Bushenyi district destroying food crops, farm lands, buildings and animals.

The most affected villages are Lugaga, Kankiinga and Kashozi while Kigoma parish building was blown away.

The minister for disasters and preparedness Ms. Esther Anyakuni has already come to residents rescue and promised to give sacks of beans, Posho, Sugar and 15 iron sheets to re-innovate the Kigoma parish building.

“I thank our president Museveni for choosing an energetic minister who has run very fast from Kampala to help the people of Bushenyi, I also thank my fellow honorables and government officials for supporting our minister in trying to help our affected people,”Annet Katusime the district woman MP said.
