Minister for Local government Raphael Magyezi warned Ugandans against corruption which has become a rampant in every office in Uganda.
Minister Raphael said this yesterday at the fundraising of collecting money to construct classrooms at St Thomas Catholic Primary school Ryabagaju in Kyamuhunga Bushenyi district.
Magyezi noted that Ugandans need to work together if they are to fight corruption out of every office noting that it starts right from service receivers.
He noted that government of Uganda has supported development through construction of roads , improvement in Health services ,schools and extending water supply to rural areas .
Minister revealed that government has already provided 300 million shillings to work on Kayembe, Bitooma road to Butare and Kyamuhunga to Bitooma to become 1st class Murram.
Minister tasked district chairman Jaffari Bassajabalaba to make sure that NWSC supply is extended to Nyakazinga in Kyamuhunga.
He gave a contribution of 100 bags of cement , bought a bull to the pupils of St Thomas and sold other items.
Other dignatories Present the fundraising Chairman LC V Bassajjabala Jaffari , an aspirant Woman MP Annet Katusiime Mugisha Church priest and other stake holders .
Bassajabalaba Jaffari revealed that with the help of Minister Magyezi,Bushenyi district received 500 million shillings for the renovation of the district headquarters adding that the work will start soon.
Jaffari also noted that Minister Magyezi lobbied for 300 Million shillings to work on Swass road ,300 million shillings on Rwentuha Bugongi road , 500 Million shillings on Kitatera Kyijengye and thanked the government for providing 500 million shillings to construct Kibazi health center III.
