BUSHENYI RDC CLOSES KIU STAGE IN ISHAKA OVER MISUNDERSTANDINGS

The Bushenyi Resident District Commissioner Jolly Tibemanya has announced the temporarily closure of KIU stage in Ishaka division

The announcement came after continuous misunderstandings between the municipality authorities, stake holders and drivers.

The RDC while addressing the press yesterday Friday 3^rd said they previously held a meeting on 30th December 2019 but didn’t come out with fruitful results.

He said that the stage will now be in the hands of the police and drivers will be operating at no charge.

There will be no stage brokers; drivers will not be paying loading fee and welfare fee until further notice.

The RDC added that after the investigations are completed, the responsible authorities will on Monday 6^th January hold a meeting for final resolutions, then reopen the stage for normal activities.
