BUSHENYI SCHOOL SHINES AT E.AFRICA SPELLING BEE COMPETITIONS.

Parental Care Primary School won the western region East Africa spelling bee competitions where two of its pupils were among the best three pupils in the competition.
The competitions which were held over the weekend at lake view resort hotel attracted schools from Kabale, Fortportal, Bushenyi and Mbarara .
Parental care primary school‘s pupils who made it win the competitions are; Kyoshabire Aleluyah the first whereas Tashobya Anold became the third.
According to one of the directors of the school, Mr.Yebazamukama Trever , the words that made Kyoshabire emerge the best in the whole competition were pfeffernus and buffet .
Mr Yebazamukama added that national competitions will take place on 20th August 2017 in Kampala . He said that the regional competitions will take place in December 2017 at Serena Hotel of Nairobi.
Parental care and Katatumba Academy will represent western region at competitions in August 2017 in Kampala.
The competitions cover five East African countries; Uganda, Kenya Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi .
Mr Yebazamukama noted that one week ago, Parental Care Primary School emerged the best in UCC innovation competitions that were held in Mbarara for western region. The school will still represent western region in the national competitions.
He added that these competitions have built confidence and exposure among pupils and this has resulted into excellent performance at Primary Leaving Examinations. Parental care registered 100% performance in 2016 PLE results.
