CANDIDATE STUDENTS SHARE EXPERIENCES OF GOING BACK TO SCHOOL AMIDST COVID19

Candidate Students who reported back to school mid-October after a long forced holiday have a lot to share.
They have shared experiences of how it feels to learn under an environment influenced by the deadly covid19 disease.
Ameria Katusiime, a student at Nyakasura School Fort portal observed that she had lost hopes of going back to school soon, so she found it difficult to cope up with the new norm under COVID.
Kankwasa Rogers, a candidate at Toro parents’ education center noted that friends fear socializing and interacting with each other in the name of social distancing.
He explained that they also miss a learner -teacher relationship because teachers tend to rush home early due to curfew.
Kobusinge Liz, a candidate who never preferred to disclose her school observed that learners’ miss recreation activities like football because they are contact games that may be risky.
She stressed that it was also difficult for learners who were forced into boarding section to cope up with morning preps and evening preps.
