PARENTS URGED TO VALUE VISITATION DAYS

Parents have been challenge to value the visiting days in schools.
The challenge was made by Steven Kangwagye the Member of Parliament for Bukanga County in Isingiro district.
He said that visiting days are important as they bring together parents, students and teachers to share on the academics and discipline of the children at school.
He made this remark during the thanksgiving ceremony of Kigaragara Vocational Secondary School upon their success in the last years UCE examinations making it the first school in the whole district.
Hon. Kangwagye pledged 7 million to complete the construction of two classrooms block.
In his remark the Head teacher Kigaragara Vocational Secondary School Julius Begumya said that the only challenge at school is lack of classrooms to accommodate a big number of students they have.
He thus called upon the government, the well-wishers to intervene and assist the school
A total of 19 million were collected towards the construction of two class rooms block.
