NINE FOREIGNERS REMANDED IN MBARARA ON CHARGES OF OWNING ILLEGAL BUSINESSES

Court in Mbarara presided over by grade one magistrate Paul Mujuni has remanded eight Rwandan and one Tanzanian nationals on charges of illegal stay in Uganda and owning illegal business.
The remanded are France Mukeshima 35, Teddy Mukatwesiga 23, Florance Mukankubito 27,Yatashija Matilda 27, Lilian Owimana 23, Clare Nahimana 23, Shivan Nyangoma 26 (TZ), Ireen Owimana 28 and Yvonne Nyinamafaranga.
The nine have been in the police custody followingintelligence reports that a group of foreigners disguised as prostitutes had entered the country on furtive mission.
The nine have been remanded to Kyamugorani government prison up to tomorrow when they will again appear before court on charges of illegal stay and illegal ownership of business.
Recently, Emmy Kateera Turyabagyeni the RDC Mbarara revealed that their arrest was purposely intended to know how they entered the country and on which mission.
