CORRUPT OFFICERS ARE PRODUCTS OF EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE; PROF. KAROORO

Parents have been urged to focus much on foundation for their children if they are to gain from them.

These remarks we made by Prof. Emmanuel Karooro the Vice chancellor Ibanda University during the end of term general meeting at Ngeya preparatory school in bushenyi district.

Prof. Karooro who is also the director Ngeya preparatory school, noted that primary and pre-primary are the basic foundations for every one saying that choosing good schools should be a priority to every parent.

He noted that all great men in history are the products of firm foundation and that they all resisted examination malpractice.

He revealed that examination malpractice at all levels is the worst foundation given to children. He added that examination malpractice products are the source of Uganda’s problems noting that all corrupt officials and un professional workers are products of malpractice.

Prof. Karooro also disclosed that he needs about Ug shs 300M to make a research on examination malpractice but no one can give it to him.

Dan Mugyenyi, the Bushenyi Ishaka municipality Education officer, noted over expectation from parents as the lead cause of examination malpractice.

Mugyenyi added that all children don’t have the same level of IQ, but parents want their children to perform beyond their capacity.

He also revealed that, they will close schools which are not to the required standards beginning with next term.
