COVID 19: BUSHENYI RDC SETS TOUGH RULES FOR KABAGARAME PORK MARKET

Bushenyi Resident District Commissioner Ms. Jane Asiimwe Muhindo has issued strict guidelines for Kabagarame pork market as COVID 19 cases surge.

In a letter dated 10th.June.2021 addressed to the management Kabagarame market traders association, the RDC noted that only 20 people should be allowed to sell pork per week.

She added that prepared pork should be packed so that the buyers can take it home (take away).

The RDC in her letter argued that these measures will prevent people from congregating at the weekly pork market which is likely to increase the spread of COVID 19.

Kabagarame pork market is one of the hot spots where people congregate on every Saturday to enjoy pork.
