COVID 19 KILLS REV. FR. IN IBANDA

In Ibanda–

Catholic community in Ibanda District is mourning the demise of Rev. Fr. Boniface Muhumuza of Kagongo Parish Mbarara archdiocese.

Rev. Fr. Muhumuza succumbed to COVID 19 yesterday 11^th June 2021 at Nsambya hospital.

The deceased will be laid to rest on Sunday at Nyamitanga cathedral after a holy mass.

Fr. Boniface was the first priest of Kihani Parish in Ibanda District and by the time of his death he has been the Parish priest of Kagongo parish.

Felix Nuwagaba a journalist lamented that they shall dearly miss soft encouraging words that the priest would give them during his masses.
