It’s a year now since the passing on of Musinguzi Hillary; a former radio presenter at Crane Radio in Ishaka passed on in a motor accident on Kabagalame Road on June 10, 2017.
Today, his family and friends marked a first anniversary of celebrating his life by holding a fundraising to construct a memorial building worth 50million Shillings. In the service held at his school Bushenyi Municipal Academy located in Kicwamba, Ruharo, Central division, Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality, about twenty five million shillings (25,000,000/=) were collected.
The chief guest was Eng.Dr.Silver Mugisha of National Water and Sewerage Corporation who was represented by Eng.Kateeba the National Water Greater Bushenyi Regional Manager, Among other attendants were Guma Nuwagaba the RDC of Mitooma, Prof.Tarsis Bazana Kabwegyere, Deo Atuhaire, Apollo Kakonge of WACSOF, Wilber Muhwezi of MKNEWSLINK, Jafari Basajjabalaba the District chairman, Counsel Kamugisha.
Hillary [theformer Orusaniya Rwamazima Show Host] is survived by a widow Abby Ayebare Musinguzi and four children.
In his speech at the function, Kabwegyere said that Hillary left behind a good foundation of a school that will live forever. He adds that this great project employs many people and fosters development in the region and Uganda as a whole.
