FAMILY, LEADERS HAVE NOT REPORTED ON MISSING IBANDA VICE CHAIRMAN— POLICE

Following information about the mysterious missing of Ibanda district Vice Chairperson Amon Mwijukye from his home to unknown place, www.mknewslink.com has contacted Ibanda Police today.
The District Police Commander, Ibanda, Ms Emmilet Angomoko told this Reporter that the family and relatives of Mwijukye have not yet reported to police about the case.
She added that its possible for him to have left the country to look for employment (ekyeyo) in Arab countries saying that there is freedom of movement.
There is freedom of movement and the right of any Ugandan to move anywhere or even go to a broad to look for greener pasture for his family. Let those who complain report to Police and give the proper information Ms. Angomoko said.
However, his wife Ms Provia Mwijukye told the Resident District Commissioner, Eliasto Akatuheebwa that she knows well that her husband is secure in good hands and has agreed with family on principals that has gone to look for a green pasture.
But she has not disclosed the place and even the department where he is working at.
