In Bunyangabu–
The outgoing district interim chairperson for Bunyangabu district Peter Musinguzi has decried lack of enough money in the district coffers to pay workers since the wage allocation is less than the workers.
Musinguzi disclosed that Bunyangabu district has a total number of 1128 workers which he says is bigger than wage allocation.
He says Bunyangabu district that has no budget is still sharing budget with it’s mother Kabarole district therefore it might create challenges for the new district.
He further stated that the wage allocation disturbed them during the payment where 48 workers were affected.\
Musinguzi was yesterday speaking at the congratulatory party for the newly elected woman Member of Parliament; Peace Mutuzo and the new district LC 5 chairperson; James Ategeka Mugarama at the district headquarters.
Speaking to electorate, James Mugarama appealed to leaders and the electorate to avoid sectarianism for the development of the district.
Peace Mutuzo pledged to use her powers as the state minster for gender and culture and the Mp to lobby for the people of Bunyangabu in terms of service delivery.
Bunyangabu district is among the five newly created districts in the country that had elections where Bunyangabu had eleven positions whereby NRm won nine seats, two independents and one FDC.
