FOR 16 DAYS NOW, POLICE ARE STILL HUNTING FOR FORMER BUSHENYI ISHAKA MUNICIPAL TREASURER JACKSON BEYENDEZA

Bushenyi police have revealed that they have mounted aggressive search for the last 16 days to arrest the interdicted Bushenyi Ishaka municipal treasurer Jackson Muhwezi Beyendeza to answer to charges of corruption in Kampala.
According to the head of investigations of Beyendeza’s case who is also the OCCID Bushenyi Ronald Kivengere, it is true that Beyendeza is still in hiding but his detectives are searching for him and will get him soonest.
Beyendeza was scheduled to appear before anti-corruption court on 15th Dec.2020 but chose to go into hiding.
The head of investigations Ronald Kivengere told www.mknewslink.com that Beyendeza is hiding in a self-contained house and cannot move out.
According to a credible source, Beyendeza blacklisted all incoming calls from his police surety Kamugisha Kikwaya and he is stuck on where to get him.
Beyendeza is charged with embezzlement, corruption and forgery of signature of his boss the town clerk and other staff.
He was interdicted 7 months ago alongside the municipal engineer Deus Nuwagaba and procurement officer Roberto Nuwagira on the orders of the Minister of Local Government Raphael Magyezi.
