The medical doctor who defiled, impregnated his biological daughter has been granted bail today noon by the Bushenyi chief magistrate after reducing case from aggravated defilement to incest.
Dr. Gilverse Rubagumya Twiine was remanded on 28th June 2022 by chief magistrate’s court on charges of aggravated defilement.
Rubagumya a doctor at St. Francis hospital Mutolere Kisoro is accused of severally defiling his 17 year old daughter, a former student at Bweranyangi girls’ secondary school, impregnating her and helping her to abort.
Chief magistrate’s court presided over by Simon Toloko granted a cash bail of 2 million shillings to the doctor and sureties including his wife Christine Twiine were charged 5 million non-cash.
While giving bail to the accused and accessing sureties asked whether Christine is the mother of the victim but the husband told court she is a stepmother.

According to sources DPP Jane Francis never reduced charge to incest but her juniors who are hungry for money did so.
The chief state attorney for Bushenyi counsel Bartison Baguma is secretly bleeding in his heart after the case was aggravated defilement to incest despite his hard work of analyzing the file from the beginning.
Baguma never talked to www.mknewslink.com but close sources around his said he is silently and painfully trying to copy up with the decision of the DPP.
