FORMER NTUNGAMO DISTRICT ROADS INSPECTOR’S WIFE HELD OVER HUSBAND’S DEATH

Police in Ntungamo district have in custody a woman who allegedly murdered her husband, a former inspector of Roads in Ntungamo district
The suspect Regina Atwooki is suspected to have hand in the death of Basiga Timbyetaho, her husband.
Basiga Timbyetaho 66 years a retired roads inspector was reportedly beaten up by his family members on the night of 6th.Apirl.2021 before he was rushed to Kitagata hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The deceased’s son Julius Muhoozi ,Herbert Nagumya ,their sister Betty Keitesi and their mother Atwooki Regina allegedly clobbered the deceased after he reportedly declined to endorse their plan to sell off family land.
Locals of Kabahambi in Kikoni ward, Ntungamo Municipality where the deceased home is claim that they heard some fights in the deceased’s home only to get information later that he had passed on.
Sources from Ntungamo police indicate that the deceased’s wife Regina Atwooki has been arrested to help police while the three children on the run.
