Rogers Byamukaka FUFA EXCOM member (federation of Uganda football association) in charge of marketing,TV and sponsorship wins position of chairperson NRM Masindi municipality main stream.
Byamukaka was declared winner an opposed after it was discovered by the officials that his competitor Bob Kusiima Byaruhanga missed astep that could not allow him to participate in the elections as per the guidelines.
The elections were conducted at Masindi stadium within masindi municipality presided over by Moses Ogwang district NRM registrar masindi on Monday 19th may 2025.
In the other position, Milly Mateeba Muhumuza was also declared as vice un opposed, Murishid Abigaba gen sec also was un opposed.
Mean while Betty Katwesige was declared winer as sec publicity after ganging 79 votes against Solomon Asiimwe who scored 59 votes.
Judith Byarugaba also took the position of sec finace after obtaining 118 votes against Gadi Karemera who got 14.
Meanwhile the youth left the positions to go an opposed. Jackson Mohahoro as chairman, Patrick obedi vice, Faith Nyangoma gen sec, Innocent Mwesigwa sec publicity and Fred Kirya Finance.
For the position of women league, Magret Isingoma was declared chairperson un opposed, Janet Asiimwe vice an opposed, Alima Luku gen sec, Rose Kimuli sec publicity, Juliet Kusiima finance all an opposed.
For the persons with disabilities, James Musinguzi declared as chairman, Victor Mugisa vice, Pius Odong gen sec Ruth Birungi publicity and Madinah Abiria publicity all un opposed.
Elderly, Tegras Isingoma chairman, Joyce Kabarole vice, Dora Kapere Gen sec, and Florence sekanabo finance all went un opposed.
In the position of veterans, Alfred Muwanguzi was declared chairperson, Francis Bigirwa vice, Isaac Sekasamba gen sec,Musa Mutebi publicity and Sharif Mugisa sec finance all un opposed.
Speaking after being elected as chairperson NRM Masindi municipality main stream, Rogers Byamukaka termed yesterday’s elections as peaceful and democratic saying they look forward building into this success in the NRM primaries.
He calls upon all NRM people in the municipality to look for President museveni’s vote and NRM candidates as well.
