Senior Presidential advisor on media and public affairs Hon. Mary Karooro Okurut has advised the people of Bushenyi to keep united and pray to God because He is the giver and taker of lives.
She was today 20th July 2022 addressing mourners at the burial of the young man called Moses Turyamuhebwa a son to Godfrey Obote of Bwatogo cell central ward, Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality.
The late Mzee Korutaro the grandfather of the late Moses Turyamuhebwa and late Elinest Karooro were very close friends and the families are still intact since the demise of those highly respected legends of Bushenyi District.
Hon. Karooro hailed the preacher of the day Rev. Peter for preaching very well and giving the public a message of hope and relief.
Rev. Peter during his sermon said a Runyankole proverb which is rich in a traditional setting. For this matter therefore, Hon. Karooro promised to include the proverb in her New vision newspaper column on Tuesday 25thJuly 2022.
The Deputy Mayor Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality Hon. Joel Nkole called upon members of the public to embrace the parish development model and profitably utilize its funds.
On the other hand, Joel Nkole warned the residents of Bushenyi Ishaka municipality and other Ugandans that whoever has ever failed to pay in any government program shall not benefit from PDM.
