Thousands of supporters on Sunday 8th March 2020 turned up at Kyeizooba play ground in Rwentuha Town council to watch a football match between Hunter Radio FC and Crane Radio FC.
The match ended 3-3 after full time, however, most of the supporters accused the referee of favoring the home team that is Hunter Radio FC.
Crane Radio scored the first goal through Hekro (Mr Anyway) who received a through pass from Komuhimbo Mary (Akiiki). The hosts Hunter FC reacted quickly by scoring an equalizer though Crane Radio again scored and took halftime with a 2-1 Lead.
The second half which was full of substitutes looked tough for both sides until Crane Radio scored the 3rd goal in around 80s which left hosts Hunter FC Hopeless.
After 90 minutes, the referee added 5 minutes but awarded Hunter with a free kick in the 6th Minute and they turned it into a second goal with hopes of the game ending at that point.
It was not until Hunter Radio was awarded another free kick in the 10th Minute that they scored an equalizer which was scored using a hand. This caused chaos for more than 5 minutes as most of the supporters plus some players attacked the referee and his assistants of doing a favor to the home team. After the chaos, the referee ended the game immediately.
Both teams were awarded ugx 35, 0000 each from the Bushenyi district woman Member of Parliament Mary Karoro Okurut who had sent a representative as she had gone to attend the womens day celebrations in Mbale district.
