I WILL CONTEST FOR PRESIDENT—MP SSEMUJU NGANDA

The Member of Parliament for Kiira municipality in Wakiso district Ibrahim Ssemuju Nganda has revealed that he will one time contest for presidency for the republic of Uganda.

The FDC opposition party spokesperson said this in an exclusive interview with NBS TV in its program ‘people and power’ published today Oct. 30, 2019 morning.

“I will not die as an MP, Anyway what does it take for someone to be president. I can totally manage to be one,”Ssemuju said.

Hon. Ssemuju narrated to the host his journey of journalism and how he wrote strong stories at Daily Monitor and the Observer news papers where he was a director.

He is serving his second term as a Member of Parliament but never specified when he will run for president.

MP Ssemuju throughout his political and journalism career has been a critic of a 34 year President Museveni’s rule through radio, TV talk shows AND HIS WEEKLY COLUMN in the observer news paper.
