KABALE KIDNAPS, MURDERS: THREE ARRESTED

Police in Kabale District have arrested three suspects on allegations of being behind on the death of Gilbert Manige who was discovered dead yesterday in Karubanda ward, in Kabale municipality.

Manige who has been identified as a resident of Ndarura village, Rwanyena parish, Rubaya sub county Kabale district, was discovered dead lying near the feeder road in Kahama Runyanjoka cell, Karubanda ward, and Southern division in Kabale municipality.

The three are suspected to have assaulted the deceased suspecting him to be a thief; the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson Elly Maate has confirmed the arrest of the three whose names are withheld to jeopardize inquiries.

Maate adds that investigations are still ongoing and on evidence they will be taken to court and answer charges of murder, adding that they would have handed him to relative office and given a chance to give out his side of the story than killing him where he could be innocent.
