KABAROLE DISTRICT BUDGET DECLINES BY USH.8BN

Kabarole district council has laid a budget estimate of 2043Bn for the financial year 2018-2019.
While reading the budget before the council yesterday, Augustine Kisembo; the secretary finance Kabarole district disclosed that next F/Y budget has reduced by 8bn shillings compared to the last F/Y 2017-2018 which was 28.8Bn shillings.
Kisembo has attributed the budget decline to donor funding that was reduced and local revenue.
He added that they will be getting the 96% of money will come from central government whereby, 2.7 local governments and 0.65%.
Meanwhile Kisembo disclosed that the district allocated 698M in production and marketing, 2.4 Health, 6.3Bn Education, 463M community based services, 1.444Bn works and 188M in Natural resources.
He further said that the districts will prioritize Administration, works and education
