In Bushenyi.
Following fights between leaders of Bushenyi district on where to locate 1.6 billion seed school that is between Kabushaho and Kigurusi in Bumbaire sub county, sources from education ministry have revealed that the contractor will start work after 20th march 2019.
A source well conversant with the matter told www.mknewslink.com editor yesterday that evaluation of bidders is already complete.
This follows an advert that appeared in new vision last year seeking for contractors to construct a seed school at Kabushaho not Kigurusi.
The district chairman Jaffari Bassajabalaba and Bumbaire subcounty male councilor Patrick Kizito Mwebesa plus the majority of the councilors have all been in support of Kigurusi.
However, when the advert came out confirming Kabushaho, the chairman ,speaker and secretary for social services ran to the permanent secretary ministry of education to reverse the decision but in vain.
The area MP Michael Mawanda who reopened Kabushaho secondary school after it had been closed in 1992 by the then minister of education Amanya Mushega has been quiet but working under ground.
