KIRUHURA: TEACHER DETAINED FOR DEFILING 17 YEAR OLD PUPIL

Police in Sanga Kiruhura district has in detention a teacher for allegedly defiling a pupil.

Isaac Ainebyoona 38years a teacher at Kageti primary school in Sanga town council is alleged to have defiled a 17 year old pupil

The Rwizi regional spokesperson Samson Kasasira said that the case was reported by school head teacher Annet Asiimwe.

Kasasira said that the medical tests were done on the victim and confirmed that the victim was defiled, but HIV results for both the victim and the suspect are still pending.

Kasasira added that the suspect is in police custody as investigation into the matter continues, and will be charged with Aggravated defilement.
