KISORO MISSING MAN FOUND DEAD,TWO SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY

A 17 year old man in who went missing in Kisoro on Tuesday last week
has been found dead.
The deceased has been identified as Vicent Tuyizere, a resident of Nyaruyaga village in Kisoro Municipality.

Tuyizere was reported missing by family members on 18th June 2019 evening. His lifeless body was recovered this morning from Nyaruyaga cell Nyamagana ward in Kisoro municipality.

After he went missing police swung in and arrested two people who assaulted him on the same day he went missing while they were in one of the bars in Nyaruyaga trading centre. The suspects are Gerald Gatutsi 24 and Evalist Tumusiime all residents of Kabaya village in Southern division Kisoro Municipality.
The Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson Elly Maate said that the suspects are still detained at Kisoro central police station.

He however said that the deceased’s body has been taken to Kisoro
hospital mortuary for postmortem as investigations in the matter
continue.
