KIU STUDENTS CLEAN DIRTY ISHAKA TOWN

Over 200 Kampala International University (KIU) Western campus students have cleaned the dirty Ishaka town in Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality in a bid to encourage living in clean environment.
According to the KIU western campus Administrator; Juliet Ampeire, the exercise will be monthly, faculty by faculty and changing from place to place in Bushenyi district and surrounding areas.

She was optimistic that the exercise was successful and the students willingly mobilized themselves and did the work without any supervision.
The Dean of faculty of education; Dr.Rev.Fr.Patrick Mbyemeire advised leaders of Ishaka division and general public to always endeavor to clean environment in a measure to prevent diseases that result from dirtiness.
The KIU western campus Public Relations officer; Abdul Katuuramu assured the Ishaka community and the entire western region that KIU is there for them and shall always do such activities as a corporate social responsibility.
